ERP Business Manager manages the analysis of business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Implements policies and procedures to analyze system performance, ensure operational effectiveness, and drive continuous process improvement. Being an ERP Business Manager leads the collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify needs and validate that ERP solutions align with business processes. Evaluates and reviews business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps to serve as a reference for the organization. Additionally, ERP Business Manager monitors regular reports to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of ERP applications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Business Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Typical work activities include the following:
Preparation of financial and statistical reports;
Maintains records of receipts and expenditures; bonded indebtedness and investments;
Preparation of tentative school budget, payrolls, purchase orders, accounts payable, worker's compensation, health insurance, and other business reports;
Periodic inspection of departmental activities verifying regulations are followed;
Maintenance of personnel files, benefits coordinator, and may act as clerk of the board of education;
Conducts correspondence on matters where general policy has been determined;
Acts as purchasing agent for school system;
Supervision of departmental managers;
Any additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent
