Key Responsibilities

Hartzell seeks an ERP Programmer/Analyst to design, plan and implement programs and tables in the Infor XA enterprise application, including the security, documentation and maintenance in Infor XA enterprise applications. This role is responsible to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures as they relate to ERP processes. The Programmer/Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing the value of the ERP system within the organization by ensuring it aligns with business objectives, enhances operational efficiency and support growth and innovation.

Key Deliverables

1) Perform analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation of enterprise-wide Infor XA system across various functional areas.

a. Support the shop floor application implementation and migration of off-system tasks back on system

b. Evaluate and planning upgrade pathway for XA 

c. Evaluate and implement XA e-commerce solution

2) Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the Infor XA system to include troubleshooting, applying software updates and patches and ensuring system performance and reliability.

3) Manage and maintain the integrity of the data within the ERP system. 

a. Ensure that the data is accurately entered, processed and stored within Info XA.

4) Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain the security of the ERP system.

a. Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure the system meets regulatory requirements.

5) Actively participate in evaluating and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Infor XA system.

a. Identify areas for optimization and process improvements

b. Stay updated on new features and capabilities

6) Stay updated on the latest developments, updates and best practices related to Infor XA and ERP systems.

First Year Success Factors

1) Gain an in-depth understanding of the organization’s business processes and how they align with the features and capabilities of Info XA.

2) Take responsibility for data management tasks including data migration, data cleansing and ensuring data integrity .

3) Contribute to ongoing system maintenance activities such as troubleshooting, applying updates and patches and optimizing system performance.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Infor Certifications are a plus.

Required Technical Competencies

1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

2) Demonstrated competency and programming skills in relevant languages such as RPG (Report Program Generator), RPG Free CL (Control Language) for IBM iSeries, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, XA Enterprise Integrator and detailed understanding of XA ERP software.

3) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel Power Point)

4) Knowledge of integration technologies and techniques to integrate Infor XA with other systems and applications within the organization’s IT landscape.

5) Competence in developing and customizing reports using reporting tools integrated with Infor XA.
