ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Analyzes ERP system performance and encodes and debugs any issues or vulnerabilities to improve the integrity, security, or application of the system. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Programmer work is closely managed. SUMMARYThe role of the Amtech ERP Lead is to provide technical support and assistance for a variety of information technology systems, including Amtech, limited CTI support as well as other systems in our environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Meet or exceed customer expectations. (For both internal & external customers)
- Planning implementation of strategic growth business units.
- Maintenance & troubleshooting for Amtech systems.
- Work with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and implement patches or software upgrades.
- Prepare & maintain documentation of training and support for all disciplines utilized by Amtech systems within in the organization building upon the Welch playbook.
- Provide on-call support as needed (including after hours)
- Travel to remote sites on a rotational basis to provide excellent support solutions to business needs (including after hours or as needed)
- Assist Welch University initiatives by creating and teaching ERP course materials.
- Provide Level 2 Help Desk support for ERP systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONSEducation:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AA or BS in Technology or Computer Sciences or similar preferred
- Certifications in various ERP and/or Six Sigma a plus
Experience- 1 year of experience in Amtech in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Windows operation systems
