ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Analyzes ERP system performance and encodes and debugs any issues or vulnerabilities to improve the integrity, security, or application of the system. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Programmer work is closely managed.   • Chief Industries’ Corporate Office is seeking an ERP Developer to join the Chief team. This position is responsible for analysis, programming, and support of Chief computer applications including IFS ERP System.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Design, code, test, and publish projects applying established Chief standards and based on Chief priorities, programmer expertise, and divisional needs.
    • Modularize and reuse code where practical.
    • Keep code repository system up to date.
    • Provide training for users and staff members on procedures required for executing applications.
    • Development of reports using Crystal Reports, IFS Quick Reports and other tools as needed.
    • Acts as liaison with manufacturers and vendors of software and application products for ongoing Chief initiatives such as EDI or 3rd party interfaces.
    • Pro-actively identify, document, and resolve issues.
    • Evaluate user requirements and implement working solutions through system design, analysis, testing, training, and documentation.


    Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant experience.
    • Previous experience with software technology.
    • Proficiency in Angular, Java, Python, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
    • Knowledge of C#, CSS, HTML, or other JavaScript/Typescript framework.
