ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Programmer work is closely managed.   • We are currently looking for a highly skilled ERP Administrator within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) to join our IT team. This individual will collaborate closely with our current Dynamics team to optimize our system's performance, streamline processes, and enhance the overall user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, including proficiency in permission sets and Azure, with the ability to develop business reports and manage our ERP help desk. Experience in warehouse and retail operations within Dynamics BC will be highly valued. 

     

    Essential Functions Include:  

    • Administer and optimize the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central system, including user access, security settings, and system configurations to maintain a secure and compliant environment. 
    • Work with ERP system users and management to determine appropriate system configuration. 
    • Collaborate with the Dynamics team to implement updates, enhancements, and customizations ensuring optimal operation. 
    • Coordinate with external vendors and consultants for system integrations, upgrades, and support. 
    • Plan, Test, and Execute new upgrades, patches and migrations of ERP systems before implementing in a production environment. 
    • Design and maintain automated workflow processes based on thorough understanding of business practices and procedures. 
    • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI & Jet Reports to drive data-driven decision-making. 
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. 
    • Communicate with management to ensure accurate data, efficient operations, and employee satisfaction. 
    • Provide innovative solutions using technology to improve data recording for the manufacturing process. 
    • Create and manage a Dynamics BC help desk to efficiently support users. 
    • Analyze and troubleshoot ERP system issues reported by end users. 
    • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures. 
    • Train end-users on system functionalities, best practices, and new features. 
    • Perform other core ERP duties as assigned or needed. 

     

    Qualifications Include: 

    • At least 2  years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in a Dynamics BC environment. 
    • Strong understanding of warehouse and retail operations, with the ability to translate business needs into system functionalities. 
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. 
    • Project management experience preferred. 
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field is preferred. 

    Physical Requirements - Must be able to perform the following functions with or without accommodations: 

    • Consistent and reliable attendance 
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
