ERP Programmer develops, reviews, and modifies the programming to support the configuration of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Analyzes ERP system performance and encodes and debugs any issues or vulnerabilities to improve the integrity, security, or application of the system. Being an ERP Programmer develops coding to support the programming of new ERP modules and system upgrades and assists with the configuration planning and deployment of releases. Ensures ERP data and system infrastructure security, designs patches for vulnerabilities, and develops backup processes. Additionally, ERP Programmer plans and designs application tables, reports, and new modules to improve system configuration, functionality, and efficiency. Coordinates software integration and maintains technical documentation. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The ERP Programmer work is closely managed. This position is responsible for using acquired knowledge of programming and computer fundamentals/techniques to accomplish successful programming and installation of new automated test systems as well as major/minor improvements to existing programs.
This position will write, test, document, debug, implement, and maintain automated test suites that support the verification of our insurance applications, processes and workflows.
Additional duties include developing and producing statistical and other reports as well as serving as the Project Management Office’s (PMO) technical liaison for other departments and vendors.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Position Responsibilities:
Write, test, document, debug, implement and maintain test automation software.
Interpret detailed system/program specifications in terms of computer programming requirements for applications.
Provide technical support for use of automated testing tools.
Develop, test, implement and maintain automated test framework and architectures.
Develop, test, implement, and maintain major enhancements to the automated testing tools.
Provide estimates for automated test tasks.
Ability to plan, organize, and complete detailed work independently or within a team.
Interpret detailed system/program specifications in terms of computer programming requirements for applications.
Provide technical support for use of vendor automated testing tools.
Develop and produce statistical and other reports as needed.
Represents the company and department in a positive light.
Serve as a technical liaison for the department with other departments and vendors as assigned.
Works with the Automated Test Specialists and Automated Test Architects to design, plan and implement overall automated testing architecture.
Maintain competent knowledge of systems, procedures, and relationships within the organization and maintain technical knowledge through continuing education and training efforts.

At least one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a computer or technical related field from an accredited school with substantial experience in an IT-related position.
Associate degree in a computer or technical related field from an accredited school with extensive experience in an IT-related position.
Understanding of development methodology.
Use of automated testing tools.
Use of automated research tools.
Guidewire test automation experience preferred.
