ERP Project Manager manages the programming and configuration functions to support the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Plans and designs new ERP modules and system upgrades by defining scopes, setting deadlines, coordinating workflow, and monitoring progress. Being an ERP Project Manager implements policies and procedures to guide ERP system programming and ensure the optimal function of ERP applications to support business goals. Monitors system performance metrics to ensure the reliability, security, and integration of data and recommends improvements or modifications. Additionally, ERP Project Manager coordinates with adjacent departments to understand business needs and future requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Project Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ERP Project Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Role Summary 

    As the Global Manager ERP Systems, you will oversee and optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) operations on a global scale. Developing and managing a global dashboard driving data operations, you will support back-end eCommerce operations, integration with custom and 3rd party applications, and leadership of IT technical projects and team members. This leadership position plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless integration between ERP systems and eCommerce platforms to drive efficiency and innovation across our global operations.

    WHAT YOU’LL OWN:                                                

        Translate global business processes into efficient system processes.

        Identify and implement process improvements using functional and technical capabilities.

        Coordinate ERP application upgrades/updates to ensure consistency across global locations.

        Serve as the primary interface with personnel interacting with ERP systems, aligning activities with organizational goals.

        Support back-end eCommerce operations, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems.

        Collaborate with eCommerce team to optimize workflows, enhance user experience, and drive sales growth.

        Integrate custom and 3rd party applications with ERP and eCommerce platforms to streamline processes and data flow.

        Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize downtime and ensure data accuracy.

        Develops and produces global management dashboards and metrics reports.

        Collaborates with Finance staff to create consistent reporting packages across all locations.

        Utilizes business subject knowledge to conduct as-is/to-be business process modeling.

        Analyzes data for process improvement opportunities and implements optimal solutions.

        Collaborate with global users to develop, test, and modify ERP applications.

        Demonstrate a "big picture" view and proactively communicate with impacted areas.

        Lead and manage IT technical projects related to ERP systems, eCommerce operations, and integration initiatives.

        Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

        Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to execute projects on time and within budget.

        Mentor and develop project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

        Provides ERP orientation and coordinates training for users.

        Works well across functions, empathizing with user issues and varying technical levels.

    WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED:

        Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent experience

        5 years of experience in large ERP system applications

        Experience in system report writing/development

        Proactive orientation toward troubleshooting and problem-solving

        Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language

        Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team-based environment
