Short Description

A Herc Project Manager ERP position will support the ERP enhancement initiatives by managing medium to large scale projects. The Project Manager will act as a liaison between Herc business stakeholders and IT, works as an intermediary who helps support and manage needs across various business units and functions. The Project Manager will maintain complete project documentation in repository to work directly with vendors and SMEs business owners to obtain decisions, work directly with vendor to ensure requests are completed before deadlines, facilitate testing, change management, training, and serve as the main point of contact for product enhancement requests. To be successful in this role you should have a holistic thinking, great communication skills, a strong business and service orientation and superior attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a comprehensive project plan that outlines the project's scope, schedule and resources required
• Identify risks and work with stakeholders to develop a risk management plan that includes risk assessment, risk response, and risk monitoring
• Work closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users, to ensure the ERP system meets the organization's requirements and objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
• Develop a change management plan that includes stakeholder engagement, communication, and training to ensure that end-users are prepared for the new system's implementation
• Coordinate and host recorded meetings and ensure recordings are posted in repository
• Contribute throughout enhancement and new development process by facilitating sessions for testing teams and distributing testing documentation for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing; participate in the testing of developed systems/solutions
• Facilitate and actively participate in Business Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Participate in prioritization process, governance forums and brainstorming sessions.
• Participate in quality management reviews, to ensure designs, prototypes and other work products satisfy requirements

Requirements

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience implementing projects to support complex ERP system implementation and maintenance
• Must have experience with IBM iSeries (AS400) and the ability to write basic SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with projects that involved delivering business solutions, user interface design, data integration, and metadata management
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Solid understanding and experience in functional analysis, business process, use cases, functional design, and requirements documentation
• Experience in implementing and managing projects in Rental/Retail/Manufacturing/Financial domains
• Experience in upgrading homegrown applications in an IBMi environment is a plus
• Must have experience with JIRA
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus
