ERP Project Manager manages the programming and configuration functions to support the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Plans and designs new ERP modules and system upgrades by defining scopes, setting deadlines, coordinating workflow, and monitoring progress. Being an ERP Project Manager implements policies and procedures to guide ERP system programming and ensure the optimal function of ERP applications to support business goals. Monitors system performance metrics to ensure the reliability, security, and integration of data and recommends improvements or modifications. Additionally, ERP Project Manager coordinates with adjacent departments to understand business needs and future requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Project Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Day to day activities for the role which will support achievement of Project Controls deliverables across Client’s US East Coast operations by specifically:
1. Providing Subject Matter Expertise on Smartsheet for template/ dashboard creation and timeline management purposes.
2. Developing dashboards for tracking KPIs on project and Front-End Planning (FEP) efforts. Dashboards to include content on budgets, progress, and technical problems.
3. Streamlining dashboards for presentation to multiple monthly governance review.
4. Creating seamless flows of data between MS Project, PowerBI, SharePoint and Smartsheet to support populating dashboards but also remove manual input of data, reduce duplicity and chances of error.
5. Supporting project initiation to achieve progress on scope definition, estimate development and funding information preparations.
6. Recommending business processes to improve and support project and FEP activities.
