ERP Project Manager manages the programming and configuration functions to support the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Plans and designs new ERP modules and system upgrades by defining scopes, setting deadlines, coordinating workflow, and monitoring progress. Being an ERP Project Manager implements policies and procedures to guide ERP system programming and ensure the optimal function of ERP applications to support business goals. Monitors system performance metrics to ensure the reliability, security, and integration of data and recommends improvements or modifications. Additionally, ERP Project Manager coordinates with adjacent departments to understand business needs and future requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Project Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ERP Project Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

    We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to represent warehouse operations in system design, user acceptance testing and training for SAP ERP to ensure the digital team aligns with the warehouse operation. This is an individual contributor on the warehouse side serving as the connection point to the Kuiper Enterprise Technology (KET) digital team to drive system enhancement/improvements that will decrease inefficiencies and eliminate pain points of our warehouse technicians. We are looking for a motivated and autonomous builder to deliver results to our customers. This is a hands-on position where your daily activities will range from strategic planning to new system development to system testing/training. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. You should be comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity and operating in a rapidly evolving and changing landscape. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, dynamic business environment, operating in all levels of the organization. Attention to detail is paramount as you will be balancing multiple priorities and coordinating across multiple levels of leadership.

    Key job responsibilities
    - Deep dive into SAP ERP in order to provide daily support to our warehouse technicians.
    - Oversee daily execution of warehouse operations in SAP, as well as new function design and user acceptance testing for deployment.
    - Work hand in hand with the systems team to enhance the ERP system, representing the user base in the warehouse to ensure alignment in priorities and functionality.
    - Drive efficiency and quality through process-focused approaches, process improvement initiatives and root cause/corrective action exercises.
    - Managing new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations.
    - Working directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.
    - Partnering with other program managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones and drive delivery.
    - Owning program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (e.g., path to green), escalating as appropriate.
    - Influencing design and development of strategic processes.

    Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    - 5 years of program or project management experience
    - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
    - Bachelor's Degree or 7 years of experience with ERP systems
    - 3 years of experience with SAP/EWM/S4 Hana
    - 3 years of experience in product or program management experience in SAP/ERP warehouse environment
    - Management experience in warehouse, transportation, manufacturing, supply chain, or a similar field
    - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
    - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    - 2 years of driving process improvements experience
    - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
    - 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
    - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
    - Experience leading cross-functional teams, with success coaching/mentoring team members
    - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
    - Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
