ERP Project Manager manages the programming and configuration functions to support the implementation of the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Plans and designs new ERP modules and system upgrades by defining scopes, setting deadlines, coordinating workflow, and monitoring progress. Being an ERP Project Manager implements policies and procedures to guide ERP system programming and ensure the optimal function of ERP applications to support business goals. Monitors system performance metrics to ensure the reliability, security, and integration of data and recommends improvements or modifications. Additionally, ERP Project Manager coordinates with adjacent departments to understand business needs and future requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The ERP Project Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an ERP Project Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Title:             Project Manager

     

    Reports To:   President

     

    Objective

    To professionally manage projects in all facets including: Adhering to or beating budgets, proper scheduling of manpower and materials, maintaining good client relationships, change order quoting and issuance, billing and cash flow and special project needs.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Track cost weekly. Complete the Cost Code Percent Complete Worksheet by filling out the current percentage on every code. If codes are over budget find out why and try to correct problems going forward.
    2. Manage Requested Change Orders. Follow up with clients until they are turned into Change Orders.
    3. Fill out Project Manager Job Sight Reports for every visit and help maintain Project Binder.
    4. Conduct thorough Job Start Up meetings as needed
    5. Maintain constant and professional client relationships
    6. Share “lessons learned” at weekly estimator meeting to help adjust bidding costs per code.
    7. Making sure Job meetings are attended by either Field Superintendent or Yourself.
    8. Oversee total project supervision efforts to ensure appropriate personnel, budget and schedule are met in conjunction with Field Superintendent.
    9. Serve as senior technical advisor to all project supervision to assist in difficult construction startup problems.
    10. Review job assignments with Field Superintendent.
    11. Review clients scope and unusual and lead-time items.
    12. Read applicable specs pertaining to scope and note particular requirements, i.e. deflection and wind pressure of studs, stud gage, items of supply requiring long lead time, subcontractors, schedule, etc.
    13. Perform initial cursory review of drawings and familiarize yourself with them.
    14. After job is awarded use Quick Bid Budget as Benchmark.
    15. Have a job start up meeting with the Field Superintendent and/or Foremen.
    16. Coordinate material procurement with Field Superintendent.
    17. Assist Field Superintendent in Coordination of all Subcontractors
    18. Inform the Director of Safety of any specific safety conditions or requirements.
    19. Produce our own punch list prior to GC’s/ Owners Other duties as assigned
    20. Conduct Job Close Out meetings
    21. Other duties as assigned.
