Economist (Corporate) conducts research and analysis on economic data/trends and produces forecasts, interpretive reporting, and media used for risk assessment, communication, and decision making. Collects economic data from established datasets and other sources utilizing data collection and data science protocols. Being an Economist (Corporate) utilizes statistical analysis, mathematical methodologies, and modeling techniques to develop data. Designs and organizes data into unique report models and graphical illustrations to present economic information used for decision making and solution development. Additionally, Economist (Corporate) requires a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Until a full-time Chief Financial Officer is hired, you will report to our Chief Executive Officer. Internally, you will work closely with our market directors, financial planning & analysis team, human resources staff. Although our preference is to hire in the Ann Arbor or Washington DC metropolitan areas, we will consider strong candidates that are remote.
If near an office, the candidate is expected to work in an office setting a few days a week, attend in-person meetings as required, and should anticipate approximately 10% travel time throughout the year.

The pay range for this position is $125k to $150k. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. This position is also eligible for a discretionary performance incentive.
