Economist (Corporate) conducts research and analysis on economic data/trends and produces forecasts, interpretive reporting, and media used for risk assessment, communication, and decision making. Collects economic data from established datasets and other sources utilizing data collection and data science protocols. Being an Economist (Corporate) utilizes statistical analysis, mathematical methodologies, and modeling techniques to develop data. Designs and organizes data into unique report models and graphical illustrations to present economic information used for decision making and solution development. Additionally, Economist (Corporate) requires a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Economist (Corporate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary:
    The Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:   
    • Attracts candidates using various sources and social media platforms and employee referrals.
    • Hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
    • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
    • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
    • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
    • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
    • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates using various recruiting tools and methods.
    • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
    • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
    • Provides metrics and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
    • Acts as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
    • Promotes company’s reputation as “best place to work”.
    • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
    • Collaborates with hiring managers and IT Department to ensure new hires have equipment and access.
    • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
    • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
    • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
    • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
    • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.
    • Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) in manufacturing.
    • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews.
    • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).
    • SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
    Physical Requirements:  Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.  Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with the manufacturing facility.
