Economist (Corporate) conducts research and analysis on economic data/trends and produces forecasts, interpretive reporting, and media used for risk assessment, communication, and decision making. Collects economic data from established datasets and other sources utilizing data collection and data science protocols. Being an Economist (Corporate) utilizes statistical analysis, mathematical methodologies, and modeling techniques to develop data. Designs and organizes data into unique report models and graphical illustrations to present economic information used for decision making and solution development. Additionally, Economist (Corporate) requires a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Economist (Corporate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. In this role, the controller will handle high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee the accounting staff and financial activities of the company. As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting including payroll, tax compliance, billing, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, inventory accounting, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses. This position reports to the chief financial officer and will assist with the development of internal control policies, procedures, and financial planning as needed
