Economist (Corporate) conducts research and analysis on economic data/trends and produces forecasts, interpretive reporting, and media used for risk assessment, communication, and decision making. Collects economic data from established datasets and other sources utilizing data collection and data science protocols. Being an Economist (Corporate) utilizes statistical analysis, mathematical methodologies, and modeling techniques to develop data. Designs and organizes data into unique report models and graphical illustrations to present economic information used for decision making and solution development. Additionally, Economist (Corporate) requires a bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Economist (Corporate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Summary: Working closely with the CFO and divisional controllers, the Corporate Controller will be focused on ensuring excellence in the areas of finance and accounting across the entire company. The Corporate Controller will execute efficient best practices and possess the capacity to analyze key performance indicators, their impact on plant operations, and the ability to work with multiple functional groups organizationally. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field or commensurate training and experience. CPA and/or MBA preferred. Public accounting, auditing, and manufacturing background preferred. 10 years of leadership experience.

Technology: Ability to operate all information technology related business systems, programs and applications in a manner that achieves efficiency, accuracy, and relevancy of information processing and reporting.
Communication: Communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate effectively working with team members at all levels, represent Producers in a professional manner, enforce company policies, and motivate change effectively and constructively. Ability to read and interpret financial, accounting documents, company policies and other documentation. Ability to communicate and effectively present information to internal and external parties.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform calculations relating to operational, accounting and financial analysis and apply concepts of dairy mathematics and statistics.
Critical Thinking: Must have the ability to interpret business needs and understand company operations in a manner that allows effective and relevant completion of cost and financial analysis. Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have the ability to interpret a variety of regulatory and technical information furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form. Must have the ability to appropriately apply accounting theory and financial analysis mythology. Must have a fundamental understanding/knowledge of the dairy industry drivers that impact revenues and costs resulting in changes in margins. Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Salary Range: $130,000-$180,000/yearly
