We are excited to bring on a Content Editor to join our growing team at Clarivate / ProQuest! You will be responsible for delivery of high-quality metadata that enhances the research value for Clarivate customers, adhering to content, product, and master policy guidelines. You will also participate in research, creation, and maintenance of contractual agreement metadata/publication records to support the development and creation of content for products, ensuring that published information complies with established industry standards. About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• MLIS degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 2 years of experience in libraries science, or other equivalent industry
• 2 years of experience cataloging, or familiarity with copyrights

What will you be doing in this role?...

• Create publication records with a high degree of accuracy within proprietary systems, including metadata and other information based on industry standards and resources in support of organization initiatives.
• Review publisher websites, national bibliographies, national library catalogues, publisher catalogues, and other secondary sources to catalogue and classify records for addition to company products and databases.
• With guidance, analyze contracts and agreements to validate, create, and maintain records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Collaborate with the team and other departments, as needed, to ensure governance and oversight of content in accordance with documented agreements and contracts.
• Review, update, and oversee change management for serial and monographic bibliographic records in accordance with industry standards.
• Investigate and assist with resolution of issues for internal and external customers.
• Suggest efficiencies within the process.
• Update and create documentation, as needed.

Hours of Work

• Full time, permanent
• Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required
• Hybrid position in Ann Arbor (2-3 days a week in the office)
