Editor reviews, edits, and re-writes a variety of documents and/or digital content. Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compelling content for written copy and/or websites and other online communications media. Being an Editor ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Required:
    • The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding and application of grammar rules, punctuation, and application of AMA and in-house style guides.
    • Referencing & annotating experience.
    • The Medical Editor position is a fast-paced role and requires reviewing and editing promotional content for scientific/medical accuracy.
    • Write/re-write content where necessary.
    • Fact check the content and enforce thorough editorial standards that exceed client expectations, adhering to in-house standards or deferring to client standards.
