Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style
- Ensure consistency and adherence to the AP style guides
- Fact-check information and verify sources
- Collaborate with writers to improve clarity, coherence, and overall quality of content
- Provide feedback and suggestions for revisions to enhance readability and engagement
- Ensure that all content meets established standards for accuracy, tone, and voice
- Copyedit documents for clarity, conciseness, and coherence
- Review proposals and make recommendations for improvements

Experience:
- Proven experience as an Editor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of copywriting principles and techniques
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Excellent command of the English language with exceptional writing skills
- Familiarity with creative writing techniques and storytelling principles
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style errors
- Ability to work independently while adhering to deadlines
- Knowledge of journalism ethics and practices is a plus
