Editor, Sr. reviews, edits, and re-writes a variety of documents and/or digital content. Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compelling content for written copy and/or websites and other online communications media. Being an Editor, Sr. ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor, Sr. may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. May provide guidance to lower-level staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. The role of Editor/Animator may be better categorized as a post-production generalist with advanced knowledge of PC- based After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop required. Intermediate knowledge of Power Point, Illustrator, and Audition are preferred. This role needs a motivated individual who offers opinions on how to make assets more engaging to the audience; not just a "button-pusher."
