LinQuest is seeking a Staff Technical Editor to join our team at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance is required.

LinQuest is looking for a creative technical editor who isn’t afraid of digging into the details. You will be responsible for the editing and production of high-quality technical documentation, briefings, proposals, and marketing materials that contribute to the overall success of our products. You will join a team of talented developers and engineers and work collaboratively to make our products more digestible and usable by others.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• BS in English or related field
• More than three years of technical writing experience
• Excellent written skills in English
• Strong working knowledge of LaTeX and Microsoft Office with a portfolio to back it up
• Meticulous document reviews that elevate the quality of the product
• Interest in learning and adopting modern software tools as part ofthetechnical writing review process (i.e. Gitlab, Python scripting, Jira, Confluence)
• Continuous improvement, constantly striving to challenge yourself and your teammates to reach your best
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• An active TS clearance
