Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and compelling content for written copy and/or websites and other online communications media. Being an Editor, Sr. ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor, Sr. may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. May provide guidance to lower-level staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Photo Editor for a company based in Mobile, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for working on computers editing digital photographs, cropping pictures and entering customer orders.
Pay Rate
$13.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4 00 pm.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Edit and retouch images from photoshoots to completion using platforms such as Lightroom and Photoshop
- Cull through images and crop pictures to specifications
- Import and export images
- Enter customer orders
- Review work and anticipate needs / priorities based on deadlines
- Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in Graphic Arts or Photography or related field preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced and everchanging creative environment
- Extremely detail oriented and highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Experience with photography computer software programs and editing platforms
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner
- Receptive to feedback and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
- Must be detail-oriented with good organizational skills
