Being an Editor, Sr. ensures that all content meets required and accepted format and standards. Evaluates content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. Additionally, Editor, Sr. may coordinate with creative team to produce final drafts. May provide guidance to lower-level staff. Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Editor, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Videographer/Editor to join our team. As a Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality videos for various projects. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Duties:
- Film and capture video footage for a variety of projects
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished final product
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and storyboards
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and meet project objectives
- Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and other editing tools
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design into videos
- Conduct color correction and audio mixing for optimal video quality
- Manage video files and maintain an organized library of footage
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in video production techniques
Skills:
- Proficient in videography techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and composition
- Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
- Experience in photography and understanding of visual storytelling principles
- Familiarity with motion graphics software like Adobe Illustrator is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the creative team
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of post-production processes including color correction and audio mixing
