About the Project

Scorpion is looking for a skilled Editorial Photographer and their Assistant to join our creative team for an upcoming project with our legal client. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for professionals who excel in capturing compelling headshots, candid images, and group shots and are familiar with the subtleties of corporate photography.

• Dates: April 16-18
• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas
• Client: Legal Client
• Photo Request: The project will involve capturing high-quality headshots, candid images throughout the event, and structured group shots.
• Compensation: The day/buy-out fee ranges from $1,800 to $2,400 for the photographer and assistant team. Please note, lodging is not included in the compensation package.
• Postwork: No post-production work or edits will be required from the photographer; Scorpion’s in-house team will handle all post-production tasks.

• Local to Corpus Christi, Texas, or willing to travel (note: travel expenses and lodging are not covered).
• Previous experience in editorial photography, especially in a legal or corporate setting, is highly preferred.
• Must bring your own photography equipment capable of producing high-quality images suitable for corporate profiles and marketing materials.
• Ability to work efficiently and professionally within a set timeframe to capture a variety of shots, from individual headshots to larger group photos.
• The assistant should be experienced in managing equipment and lighting and in posing subjects for the best results.

• Interested candidates should submit the following:
• A portfolio showcasing recent editorial work, especially projects involving headshots, candid photography, and group photos. Work in legal or corporate settings is highly advantageous.
• A brief cover letter detailing your experience in editorial photography, your approach to such assignments, and any previous experience with legal or corporate clients.
• A list of equipment you will use for the project.
• Confirmation of availability for the project dates.
