Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Norwegian department is seeking an editorial assistant to assist a faculty member with a book manuscript on the Norwegian involvement in the transatlantic slave trade.
The assistant will focus on the formatting of some 400 footnotes in the Chicago Manual of Style. This position does not require Norwegian or Nordic language knowledge, but it could be helpful.
This position is ideal for a student who is seeking employment for spring semester only. Work hours are flexible but must be available to meet in person weekly. The position is for a total of 60 hours, if spread out evenly through the semester, 4 hours a week.
