Betsy’s Boarding Kennel has open part-time positions. Candidates with animal care, kennel or veterinary experience will be prioritized. For more than 35 years we’ve been providing exceptional service to our community with high standards for cleanliness, safety and compassion in caring for animals. The job entails:

• Cleaning - kennel runs, kennel yards, kennel and shop working areas, laundry, sanitizing
• Taking care of animals - feeding, watering, exercising, monitoring their well-being and providing attention and care. Assisting with grooming and bathing.
• Must have sufficient physical strength, mobility, and stamina to be constantly moving, lift pets and heavy objects.
• Ability and desire to learn and provide exceptional animal care and customer service.
• Collaborative and supportive working style

Schedule: 4 to 8 hour shifts weekdays and weekends.

Ideal candidates will have experience in a boarding/kennel, shelter or animal care setting. Prior experience is not necessary, but enthusiasm and a good work ethic is! Only candidates that fully complete the screening questions will be considered.

Background check and references will be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 30 per week
