Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Position Summary
This full-time, tenure-track position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate music education classes, coordination of student teacher and practicum placement, and leadership of the Music Education program at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our MME program is a robust fully online program for working teachers including a successful 4 1 component. Courses will be assigned according to program needs by the department chair (including web based courses).
