Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     As an Associate Medical Director of Education, you will oversee Haven’s Hospice and Palliative Care Fellowship Program, coordinate, develop, and track education for residents, medical students, and HMG Providers, and have clinical duties as a practicing hospice and palliative care physician of Haven Medical Group.

    • Education – MD or DO from an accredited medical school
    • Licensure & Certification – Current Florida license to practice medicine without restrictions

    • Knowledge and experience in palliative medical practice and symptom management
