    Job Overview 

    Sequel Med Tech is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Professional Education to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP, Clinical Product Strategy, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering healthcare provider-focused education and training with a commercial and sales focus. The Director of Professional Education will also be responsible for devising and implementing a peer-to-peer healthcare provider strategy to drive product adoption and market penetration. 

    Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties 

    ·         Develop and execute comprehensive medical education programs tailored to healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and diabetes educators, to ensure a thorough understanding of Sequel Med Tech's insulin pump technology. 
    ·         Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Clinical Affairs, to align medical education initiatives with commercial objectives and sales strategies. 
    ·         Design and deliver engaging and informative training materials, presentations, and workshops to healthcare professionals, leveraging best practices and innovative instructional techniques. 
    ·         Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and medical experts within the diabetes community to support peer-to-peer education efforts and drive thought leadership. 
    ·         Conduct needs assessments and market analysis to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and refinement of medical education programs, ensuring relevance and effectiveness. 
    ·         Act as a subject matter expert on Sequel Med Tech's AID system technology and algorithm, providing clinical and technical expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed. 
    ·         Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs and Compliance teams to ensure all medical education activities adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards. 
    ·         Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of medical education initiatives through metrics and KPIs, making data-driven recommendations for optimization and enhancement. 

    Minimum Requirements 

    ·         Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medicine, Nursing, Healthcare Education) required. 
    ·         Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional and/or medical education, healthcare training, or related roles within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. 

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    ·         Strong understanding of diabetes management and familiarity with insulin pump therapy preferred. 
    ·         Proven track record of developing and delivering effective medical education programs, preferably with a focus on commercial and sales objectives. 
    ·         Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner. 
    ·         Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable medical education strategies. 
    ·         Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals. 
    ·         Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization, collaborating with teams across different departments and disciplines. 
    ·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
