Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. Details: Position: Athletic Director and Secondary Assistant Principal Location: Glen Lake Middle & High School Reports to: Superintendent Pay Rate: $80,000-$90,000 (commensurate on experience) Contract Term: 220 days Start Date: August 2022 Qualifications: ? Current standards for Michigan Secondary Administrator Certification ? Current Michigan secondary teaching certification preferred ? Master’s degree in Educational Leadership or related field to achieve certification preferred ? Minimum of three (3) years successful secondary teaching/administrative experience Responsibilities as the Athletic Director: ? Maintains eligibility records for all current sports teams ? Checks the readiness of all facilities for teams and spectators prior to each home event ? Regulates the use of the press box and the public address system ? Supervises or arranges for supervision (ie, Event Coordinator) for all home athletic events ? Conducts coaches meeting(s) and communicates on a consistent basis ? Maintains inventory of athletic equipment and supplies ? Oversee and organize the schedule of Athletic Trainer ? Schedules all home and away athletic events ? Ensures ambulance service at all Middle School & High School Football games ? Ensures transportation of all athletic teams to away events ? Ensures that area officials assignors are provided season schedules in a timely manner in order to have officials assigned to home events ? Professionally and positively handles all matters pertaining to media & inquiries ? Oversees facility use of all athletic facilities on campus ?
