A college consulting company with a national and international presence is searching for an Education Business Manager to join our team. This role oversees the organizing and managing the administration, support systems and projects that enable the effective running of our company's service offerings.

A business manager is a supervisor who controls and directs the staff and activities of an organization. By adopting operational plans, client-facing relations, and supervising all daily activities, they strive to keep the business productive, efficient and organized at all times. ​The Business Manager manages staff, resources and administrative processes to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are accomplished. This position requires skill in planning, budgeting, and evaluating projects, along with supervising daily office operations.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Manager to join our team. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of our business operations. This is a key leadership role that requires strong strategic planning, business development, and project management skills. DUTIES

• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to fostering a customer service environment
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions
• Lead and supervise a team of admin staff and teachers, providing guidance and support
• Drive business development initiatives to expand our customer base and increase sales
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute programs and initiatives
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Proven experience in office and business management
• Experience managing programs - tutoring, college planning and test prep
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Working in an educational environment with students is REQUIRED
• Excellent project management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans
• Proficient in financial analysis and budget management
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Business Hours: Tues/Wed/Thurs/Friday: 12 – 7:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 6pm.

Business hours change during winter and summer breaks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
