Education Director jobs in Stockton, CA

Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Job duties

    Uphold the vision and culture in the dance studio

    Mentor students and parents

    Handle difficult conversations regarding progression
    Teaching within the competition program

    Costume management and ordering

    Over see competition team teachers

    Attend all competitions

    Make the yearly class schedule

    Team placements at audition

    Facilitate auditions

    Teacher training and accountability

    Direction of monthly technical focus

    Set event schedule
    Work with Studio Director to set the class schedule

    Marketing, growth and retention of the competition program

    Book outside choreography
    Work with comp admin to ensure deadlines are being met and information is current and accessible.


    You must be driven by continued education and have a strong knowledge of what a dancer's body needs to advance safely.
