Education Director jobs in Winston Salem, NC
Education Director provides supervision and direction of nursing education programs. Develops and implements course content and curriculums to train and update skills and knowledge of in-service nurses. Being a Education Director remains current and knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations. Provides oversight and day-to-day guidance to staff. Additionally, Education Director typically requires a master's degree in nursing. Requires Registered Nurse (RN) License. Typically reports to senior management. The Education Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Education Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Salary: $17.00 per hour
Location: Konnoak Elementary School- 3200 Renon Rd. Winston Salem NC 27127
As an AlphaBEST Instructor, you'll be trained to do the following:
- Lead a group of student explorers through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
Here's what you'll need:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED,
- Must be at least 21 years old
- At least 12 months of experience instructing children in a group setting.
- One year management/director experience preferable in a childcare setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
