The Center for Social Concerns (CSC), an academic institute within the University of Notre Dame, is currently hiring for an exciting opportunity of Justice Education Program Manager.

The role of the Program Manager is to focus on the strategy and support across all dimensions of the Center for Social Concerns (CSC) justice education student learning, manage and coordinate the daily operational tasks and infrastructure. This position works independently to guide justice education program administration, immersion learning coordination, and management and development of community/site host partnerships.
The Program Manager's top priorities will be:
1. Justice Education Program Management - with the oversight of the Program Director and Assistant Director of Center for Social Concerns, Academic Affairs, responsible for the organization and administration logistics of justice education programming across the Center for Social Concerns. Examples include:
- Support administration functions of curricular and co-curricular programs from inception to completion
- Coordinates and lead projects across the Center
- Collaborate with other areas of the Center in implementing the justice education academic vision and mission
- Manage budget in accordance with Center guidelines and director oversight
- Analyze and report student data
- Train, mentor and supervise undergraduate students
2. Immersion Learning - coordination and oversight of travel and administration logistics
3. Community/Site Host Partnerships - establishes and maintains strong internal and external relationships
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Understanding of higher education and an interest in supporting the work of students are strongly preferred.
- Proven project management, preferably in an academic environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary, with an ability to mediate for people in diverse situations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications and database management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across various constituents.
- Strong organization, problem-solving skills, and critical-thinking skills including knowing when to elevate to the next level.
- Must be able to work independently on multiple projects and to prioritize activities in response to changing circumstances and on-going deadlines.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment in a collaborative way.
- An understanding, appreciation, and enthusiasm for the mission of the Center is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University registration systems (e.g. Banner, class search, etc.) a plus.
- Experience in an academic environment
