Office Manager – College of Education

Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Office Manager in the College of Education. This position will be responsible for general office support for the College of Education. Duties will include:

• Manage documentation for the Admission to Teacher Education and Student Teaching process.
• Provide general clerical and technical support for special projects, event planning and outreach initiatives.
• Schedule classrooms and courses for the College.
• Manage and process tuition waivers.
• Log, track, and forward Affiliation Agreements from school districts.
• Website management and social media.
• Manage the College of Education scholarships including advertising and verifying application information.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

The Civil Service Examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than the submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants. Starting salary is $15.95/hour.
