    Warehouse Manager

    Position Summary:
    Responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping, receiving, picking orders, product put away, unloading and loading trucks, overall warehouse and inventory maintenance, and duties as assigned by supervisors.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    * Inspects and verifies inbound/outbound product
    * Unloads/loads freight
    * Verifies BOL information for inbound/outbound product
    * Documents products received using Company procedures & standards
    * Accurately maintains inventory using Company procedures & standards
    * Communicates with supervisor/manager as needed
    * Accurately fills orders
    * Packages, stacks, and wraps materials for safe shipping
    * Follow appropriate shipping instructions
    * Checks and documents products, noting for discrepancies and damages
    * Keeps warehouse areas organized, swept, clean, and hazard free
    * Follow all Company safety codes
    * Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor/manager
    * Participate in all aspects of warehouse and equipment maintenance and organization

    Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one year warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.

    Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

    Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Familiarity with Microsoft products is preferred.

    Certificates and Licenses: Forklift certification may be required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    This position works in a warehouse setting and requires the use of standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
