About the Position
The Curator is responsible for maintaining the Museum’s collection and the curation of engaging exhibitions, representing the Museum through social engagement at public events, and providing artistic and historical context of the collection to guests, docents, and members of the staff. Some of the requirements of the position include:
Qualifications
· Master’s degree preferred or relevant work experience in art history or museum studies.
· At least three years of professional experience preferred.
· Professional experience in managing projects is highly desirable.
· Professional experience in art research is highly desirable.
Salary & Benefits
· Full-time, exempt, salaried position: $47,000-$50,000 range dependent on experience
· The Cedarburg Art Museum does not offer benefits at this time.
