    Pay range for this position is $42.95 - $61.25/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

     

    Position Summary: The Clinical Education Program Specialist serves as a member of the ministry education and professional development teams to develop innovative education and professional development programs to meet the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. This position will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality programs offered through an OSF University, which allows for education and professional development provided in various blended education settings and modalities.  This position requires experience in the development of program curriculum, simulation, online learning programs, and other education technologies

     

    • Responsible for the organization of clinical education and professional development programs, projects, and training platforms for OSF HealthCare through the OSF University.
    • Responsible for establishing, communicating, and evaluating process and outcome measures for these programs or projects
    • Works collaboratively with content experts delivering programs through the OSF University to ensure rigor is applied to education so that it is organized, standardized, and includes adult learning principles and innovative education modalities
    • Researches material, and develops objectives, lesson plans, instructional and teaching materials for programs and program development.
    • Serves as a consultant for development of innovative education delivery modalities, such as apps, utilization of simulation, online learning platforms, and other interactive technologies that can impact a large number of clinicians in a way which is interactive, timely, highly mobile, and contains internal controls to verify individual competencies.
    • Collaborates with education and professional development departments to organize and provide support to clinical symposium and other conferences to support ongoing learning and growth.
    • Participates in educational activities that promote professional development and other activities that enhance the practice of nursing, education, and organizational development

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Masters Degree
    • 3-5 years of experience in curriculum design and education
    • Active RN license in the state of Illinois
    • Certifications: American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) recognized certification within 3 years of hire required

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous work in simulation and research
