Do you enjoy educating others?  If so, our Fraternal Department needs a Fraternal Outreach Specialist to develop and deliver training programs to help new financial representatives build their membership, gain personal satisfaction, and benefit their communities. You would use a variety of instructional techniques and formats and then evaluate and report on the training effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development, design and management of highly engaging, professional and effective in-person and digital training programs for new financial representatives.
• Assess training needs through research, observation and consultation.
• Create and organize supplemental training materials like handbooks, guides and visual materials.
• Administer a development program for new financial representatives.
• Monitor, measure and report on training effectiveness.
• Support regions/districts with on-demand training.
• Develop websites/registration for training and other events using event management software.
• Stay abreast of instructional trends and methodologies through trade publications, research, meetings and seminars.
• Assist with attainment of the fraternal goal(s) outlined in Modern Woodmen’s Corporate Plan.

What we need:

• Bachelor’s degree. Degree in business, education, instructional design, or related discipline preferred.     
• 3 years or more of related experience.
• At times travel throughout the United States, weekdays and weekends will be needed, as much as 20%.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Proficient in computer/web-based training development software, video conferencing and presentation software.
• Service oriented and ability to interact with all levels of staff in a professional manner.

What we offer:

• Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $28.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
• Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Hybrid positions work at least 3 days in office and the remaining days each week working from home.  Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (5 days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to 1 year.
