Join SIGMA PLASTICS OF LYNDHURST, NJ as an ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN at our cutting-edge facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC equipment for the plastic industry.
• Ensure the smooth operation of electrical and electronic equipment, including PLC’s, AC / DC VFD drives, AC / DC motors, and heaters, by following electrical prints and drawings.
• Repair, replace, or install single and three-phase electrical systems and components.
• Respond to troubleshooting calls during the day and after hours in the event of equipment breakdown or malfunction.
• Complete any other tasks or projects assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Proficiency in using power and hand tools.
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
