Join our Metering Services Team as an Associate Meter Engineer where you will program, test, install, and repair a wide variety of meters, communications devices, and associated circuitry. You will flex your skills in the areas of power production, meter programming, and ensuring meter data validity. You can also look forward to working directly with our clients, as well as our internal teams.
You will report to our Metering Manager and work collaboratively with our team of 15-20 Metering Technicians and Data Analysts, collaborate across the organization with our technology, design, project delivery and service teams.
This is a distributed team based locally to our headquarter and field offices. You will have the option of an office-based or flex-based workplace in our Northern or Southern California offices.
Travel to client sites is required on an occasional basis (5-10%.) Please note, during the initial training period (estimated 6-12 months) travel may be as frequent as 40% while you learn on the job. Onsite work will have varying exposure to all types of weather, electricity, hazardous surfaces, ladders, heights, ditches, poor lighting, hostile and high crime areas.
Meter Engineering is the heart of SCADA. You will learn the measurements and calculations associated with in depth power control schemes, while implementing controls logic for the metering of some the largest green energy projects in the world. You will apply power engineering principles and calculations, while learning about the latest technologies being employed.

Pay Transparency
This announcement is open to Level II job levels. The base pay range for this position is $104,000-$115,000/year, with starting salary typically in the low to mid-range for the job level. This is an overtime exempt position. Compensation is based on market rate, job level, job related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and certifications. This is a Full Time opportunity.
