    The Sacramento DMV Contact Center is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals with a positive attitude and the ability to provide extraordinary service to our customers via the telephone. Under the direction of the Manager I, incumbents will analyze vehicle and driver license records to provide information in response to customers’ questions and make appointments for customers.

    Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred, but not required.

    The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules. Salaries for part-time and/or intermittent appointments may vary. Moving and relocation expenses will not be reimbursed for this position.

    Working Conditions

    Working hours are Monday through Friday and vary from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and/or extended hours may be required. Telework is an option on a part-time basis. Telework requires California residency.

    Department Information

    The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is a recognized leader in public service and has existed for over 100 years.
