Direct Hire Assembler Position (Benefits listed at end of description)
3rd Shift, 8PM-6:30AM, 4 days a week, Sunday 8PM-Monday 6:30AM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday-off Thursday night through Sunday morning.

Client loves folks with a long tenure at other places-similar industries not required. They prefer folks from fast food or other fast paced assembler type dynamics where good communication is required and comfortable to work in close proximity to others. Physical labor is minimal in this type of assembly.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Assembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assembles product, following specifications.
2. Drills, taps, or reams holes.
3. Aligns components, bolts and screws.
4. Tests or assists in testing completed product.
5. Size, cut and apply insulation following specifications. 6. Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.
7. Performs other duties as necessary.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

EXPERIENCE:
1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc. Ability to read from a schematic.
