Being an Electric Motor Assembler may be required to be certified in an area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Electric Motor Assembler relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The purpose of the Assembler position is to build, configure, assemble and/or package electrical, sprinkler, or irrigation component parts into subassemblies and finished products for irrigation systems.
An Assembler is a new or existing employee who has not been fully trained or demonstrated proficiency in specific skill areas and/or on specific machinery. These are employees who are placed in on the job training roles and who will remain as Assemblers in Training until predetermined proficiencies are achieved within the Assembly department.
