Electric and Gas Operations Manager jobs in Ventura, CA

Dansk Investment Group is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager specializing in entitlements, construction, and renovations of our gas station portfolio and incoming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Entitlements: Demonstrate deep knowledge and experience in obtaining entitlements for construction projects, focusing on gas stations.
• Project Management: Carry out basic project management tasks to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Oversight of Multiple Projects: Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills and effective task prioritization.
• Communication with Stakeholders: Maintain clear and consistent communication with various stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to entitlements and construction projects, and develop strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Contract Administration: Manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and other project partners, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and conditions.

Qualifications:

• Entitlement Experience: Previous experience in securing entitlements for gas station construction projects is required.
• Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Organizational Skills: Proven track record of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to promptly identify and address issues, finding practical and efficient solutions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a bonus.
