Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor jobs in Amarillo, TX

This position will be open to Internal and External applicants and will close on Sunday, April 29, 2024.

The Service Tech position pays between $48,000 to $60,000. The Sr. Service Tech position pays between $54,720 to $68,400.

Placement in any level is based on the skills, education and experience of the successful candidate

The successful candidate must live within 30 minutes of the Clovis Service Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes meter orders to include connects, disconnects, meter sets, and meter exchanges, in a timely and safe manner.
• May investigate and respond to gas emergency orders and requests, such as blowing gas lines, in compliance with Company emergency and safety guidelines.
• Prepares and completes in a timely / accurate manner various / required reports in the performance of assigned duties, such as damage reports, odorant test reports and / or related system reports.
• Collaborates and consults with various individuals and groups to ensure the timely and safe completion of work assignments.
• May be assigned to monitor warehousing of supplies and / or related materials as required or assigned.
• Senior Level Position : Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities

We’re Looking for Someone With :

• A high school diploma or GED
• 0-4 years of related experience
• A valid driver’s license and may be required to maintain a commercial driver's license (CDL), depending on the position and geographic location.
• Senior Service Tech : 4 years of directly related experience and a Journeyman Gas Fitter's License (JGL).
• Preference : Journeyman Gasfitters License, Plumbing experience
