Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor jobs in Indianapolis, IN

Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor supervises work crews involved in construction, maintenance, and repair of electric and/or gas distribution systems. Monitors and inspects sites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Being an Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor ensures all work is completed according to safety policies and procedures. Requires an associate degree in the related area. Additionally, Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor has full authority and may be considered lower middle management. Typically reports to a manager or a head of a unit/department. The Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Electric and Gas Operations Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Key Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Generate sales pipeline
    • Utilize your current network and prospect new clients
    • Close new business while maintaining current client base.
    • Utilize Navigate Power & Verde Solutions proven sales approach to build trusted partnerships.
    • Understand Navigate Power and Verde Solutions’ marketing/sales material


    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in field sales (B2B), (Preferred)
    • Ability to work independently without supervision
    • Proven track record of consistent sales success
    • Energy Consulting (Preferred)
    • B2B Outside Sales Experience (Preferred)
    • Established Book of Business (Preferred)
    • Extensive Professional Network (Preferred)
