    Job Summary

    The Low Voltage Operations Manager to provides leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that our low voltage departments have the proper preconstruction, project management and operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the business unit and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

    Position Responsibilities

    Business Development

    • Works with Division Managers to set operational sales goals and prepare quarterly and annual sales projections.
    • Responsible for generating opportunities, industry partnerships, and vendor agreements that lead to new revenue generation or profit increase in existing markets.
    • Provides Means & Methods, Preconstruction, Estimating, and Division Management guidance to managers.
    • Reviews and approves major bids, agreements and complicated designs.
    • Represents the company with customers, vendors and other business partners.

    Business Management

    • Contributes to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
    • Responsible for motivating and guiding the team to achieve and surpass goals and provide vision of specific strategy in the systems and specialty market.
    • Assists in developing budgets for assigned divisions and monitors based on the agreed upon annual baseline budget planning requirements.
    • Seeks out and acts on opportunities to continuously improve; instill innovation mindset within group and effectively lead and manage change.
    • Mentors, coaches and develops direct reports and support them in developing their teams.

    Operations

    • Champions Sequoyah s Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values; leads by example.
    • Drives initiatives in the management team and organizationally that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
    • Provides day-to-day leadership and management to assigned Division Managers and General Superintendent.
    • Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and on-time delivery.
    • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating conditions of assigned divisions.
    • Maintains quality assurance standards as defined in the company s standards.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Bachelor s degree in business, construction management, engineering or related academic field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience leading business operations in the low voltage and systems industry.
    • Technical background with low voltage systems including networking, structured cabling, physical security, audio visual systems, fire alarm, DC power, network equipment and DAS in commercial, data centers, central office and residential spaces.
    • Experience with carrier services a plus.
    • Demonstrable record of achieving defined business goals; results oriented.
    • Strong communication skills, ability to navigate and resolve conflict effectively.
    • Proven ability to develop and motivate a team; strong leadership skills; interpersonal skills; ability to motivate direct and indirect staff

    Compensation

    $160-210k per year, in addition employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within that range is dependent upon the employee s performance, skills, experience, and qualifications.
