    Position Summary & General Job Purpose

    The ideal candidate for this role will provide essential electrical engineering support, contributing to technical leadership and continuous process optimization. They will play a crucial role in meeting the business objectives of the segment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in coordinating third-party engineering contracting services from the scope definition phase to the close-out document phase, ensuring minimal disruption to existing processes.
    • Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and findings through data collection, analysis, and trend summarization.
    • Prioritize safety, review accident/incident reports, and participate in investigations as necessary.
    • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and ensure accessibility for reference.
    • Guarantee technical support for the project management group, from the feasibility study phase to the coordination of final acceptance tests, ensuring technical quality and accurate documentation after changes.
    • Establish minimum technical requirements for equipment and system purchases or modifications, maintaining compliance with national, international, or corporate standards and incorporating emerging technologies when necessary.
    • Lead, support, participate in, and contribute to improvement programs and project groups.
    • Assist management in optimizing equipment quality, cost, availability, and performance.
    • Coordinate and supervise personnel as required.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree/Certification Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • Language/Proficiency Level: English / Advanced.
    • Strong technical writing skills.
    • Providing technical support and consultancy to the management structure in the electrical and automation disciplines.
    • Knowledge of power systems, NEC, NFPA 70E, design, and start-up of AC drive systems, design and programming of PLC and HMI-based control systems, and reviewing and developing P&IDs.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).

    Desired Requirements:

    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy industrial settings.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred.
    • Supporting management in optimizing equipment quality, cost, availability, and performance.
    • Ability to anticipate and adopt innovations in business-building digital and technology applications.
    • Proven ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
    • Proficiency in efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Excellent communication skills, including working effectively with professionals, operations personnel, and construction trades.
