    Number of positions: 2

    Duration: 6 - 12 month contract

    Job Summary:

    Our engineering and technical services client who specializing is packaging and process equipment engineering, validation, and project management services for a variety consumer manufacturing clients in the Food & Beverage, Health & Beauty, Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industries is currently seeking Electrical/Controls Engineers to support current a large site expansion project at their clients facility in Tipp City, OH.

    Projects and Duties include but are not limited to the following:

    New Utilities (Various Electrical Power) Systems - Installation, Startup, Testing Support (Systems are expected to be installed by 3rd party suppliers in Q3/Q4 2023)

    Support and review the expectations for upcoming installation activities to be completed by 3rd party companies.

    Work with Site Safety to determine what steps need to be taken by 3rd party companies to be able to safely install the desired utilities.

    Be onsite as 3rd party companies are expected to be onsite to manage/provide oversite of 3rd party activities.

    Provide daily/weekly updates pertaining to Utilities installations.

    Support the development of Utility Testing documents to verify utilities are installed and function as expected.

    Work with 3rd party suppliers to finalize as-built documentation and prepare site turnover documents which concludes the 3rd party suppliers commitments.

    This project is very likely an onsite role since these utility systems are entering installation phase.

    Electrical Design Work

    Audit new Supplier Bill Of Materials (BOM's) to ensure appropriate Electrical hardware is being provided to the site.

    Review/Redline Electrical Schematics from Suppliers to ensure they are accurate and meet expectations set forth in the Client Nutrition Electrical Specification.

    Potentially support the custom build of small-scale solutions that meet site expectations that are not off the shelf vendor provided solutions. Could include Electrical Specification/Controls definition, electrical cabinet design intentions, identification of local suppliers who can build custom designed panels and then test those panels to ensure expectations are met.

    This requirement can be supported remotely at first but once installation phase hits then presence at the site would be required.

    New Supplier (ZPI) Site Integration System:

    Establish communications between each Equipment Supplier and Supplier for Site Integration requirements.

    Support the creation of a Site Acceptance Testing Document (written by Integral) that tests all required expectations for Site and Equipment Integration.

    Work with Site Operations to ensure ZPI Integration and functionality meets or exceeds expectations set forth by two (2) existing packaging lines.

    At the conclusion of line integration efforts, work with ZPI to finalize as-built documentation and prepare site turnover documents.

    This requirement can be supported remotely at first but once installation phase hits then presence at the site would be required.

    Support all new Packaging Equipment Technologies coming to the site in Q1 2024

    Ramp up to speed with each applicable Packaging Equipment Vendors. Learn the equipment expectations, specifically focusing on Electrical Design intent and integration requirements to the ZPI System.

    Support the development of Factory Acceptance Testing Documentations (written by Integral), specifically focusing on the electrical design aspects of each machine.

    Attend the Factory Acceptance (FAT) Testing at vendor sites and assist in the execution of each FAT Document.

    Provide Vendors with detailed instructions for Electrical breakdown of each machine for preparation to ship to site.

    Support the development of Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Documentations (written by Integral), specifically focusing on the electrical design aspects of each machine.

    Support the arrival, installation, startup, and debug, and SAT Testing of each machine at the site when vendors are onsite.

    Work with each Packaging Equipment Supplier to finalize as-built documentation and prepare site turnover documents.

    This requirement can be supported remotely at first but once installation phase hits then presence at the site would be required."

    Requirements:

    Live in Ohio (ideally within 90 miles of Dayton, Ohio, or the candidates are willing to temporarily relocate to Ohio for the work (assuming we secure minimum commitment of 6 months of funding).

    BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience with the following:

    Electrical power systems (power distribution), hardware, utility testing, electrical codes.

    Previous industrial/manufacturing site project experience with related process packaging equipment as well as building facility and utility electrical systems
