The candidate should also be fully qualified to startup and shutdown plant, write LOTOs, and perform chemistry on the RO system. • Perform maintenance engineering work by applying standard maintenance engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria in support of the plant operating environment • Prepare project reports and estimates by identifying activities, status and performance • Plan routine maintenance activities by evaluating client requirements, plant operating equipment, maintenance problems and recommending program systems and corrective actions • Maintain technical knowledge by keeping current on available systems and equipment for plant operations and maintenance experience • Ensure effective application of all tools, techniques and programs by maintaining strategic maintenance programs, including reliability programs, preventative and predictive maintenance and computerized maintenance management systems • Develop business opportunities by performing plant operations and maintenance consulting services and for leading application study effort • Other duties as assigned• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and two (2) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to six (6) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner• Typically an accredited degree or global equivalent in engineering or business with two (2) years of plant Operations & Maintenance experience and/or other relevant work experience • Good working knowledge and experience based understanding of industry specific programs and systems
